Dreketi is one of Fiji's truly dark places. Its river is the deepest in Fiji and a declared Sanctuary sheltering marine life. It is also home to Nakanacagi Bat Sanctuary - the only known maternity roost of the Fijian free-tailed bat (in the world), and its night sky is still as our ancestors saw it.
